November Notations

Have you ever thought to yourself, " I don't need to say anything. That person knows how I feel"?

I know I used to be guilty of this. I used to tell myself, "they know" whenever I was thankful for or even proud of someone.

But then, I realized that the act of "telling" was not just appreciated by the individual, but also made me feel amazing.

When you tell someone that you appreciate them, are proud of them, or that you care about them it builds a strong connection and provides you both with a surge of positive energy.

That energy is then passed on to others that you both encounter.

The act of "telling" is critical in business as well as in your personal life. When we acknowledge the role someone has played in growing or shaping our business, it lets them know that we "see" them and we recognize their contribution.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...

October Openings

There has been a slight change in weather across our state, and it's as if a door has opened bringing in a new breeze of love.

This week, I have been compelled by this wind to think about, soak in, and give back love. It truly is an amazing energy when we focus on how we can change the conversation in our minds and freely give of our hearts.

I am so blessed that I am filled with love daily. From what I do, to those I engage with, I am surrounded by the warmth of the emotion.

And I am on a mission to ensure that I am opening the door for others so that they can receive and feel the love the world holds for them.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...

October Oasis

Do you have an oasis? The word itself refers to a "green or fertile place in an arid area".

Your "oasis" is the place where you go to renew. It waters your soul and revives your spirit. This is why it is so important for you to identify where your oasis is.

This month has been serving as an oasis for me in all things. The year has been a journey without the usual nourishment I receive from events, and so I continue to create and honor space and time to replenish and "water" my soul.

From designing new opportunities to connect with clients and members, to embracing my curiosity, my October Oasis is where I am happily taking a break from the arid conditions of the year.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...

October Outlook = Joy!

It's October and my outlook is full of joy! Why? Because "why not?"

Your outlook is your point of view or your attitude about life, and so I have decided to choose joy.

Joy can be found everywhere, from large gestures to the smallest kindness. One way to help you feel joy, especially on tough days, is to help another person.

I find the greatest joy in my work, especially when I see the face of a business owner that gets what she needs from a coaching session.

I also find joy in my garden. Watching the sunlight dance on the leaves of my favorite plants.

Joy can also be in my cup of afternoon tea.

It all comes down to your outlook and your decision on how you want to embrace the moments.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...

Sensational September!

I welcome September with open arms, positive energy, and all my heart.

Why? Because I can.

Yes. I choose in this moment, no matter what is going on in the world, to choose joy.

I know so much may seem daunting, and you may even be feeling exhausted. But I remind you, that you have within you enormous power and strength.

You have the ability to choose.

A new month and a new season bring new opportunities if you choose to open your heart and mind to receive them.

I choose to move forward. To remember my purpose and embrace each opportunity no matter how it comes to me, as the chance to make a difference.

Whether one person or thousands of lives are changed by my work, I choose to remember that a life well-lived is a life to be proud of.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...

August Ahas!

aha clarity connections goals Aug 27, 2021

I don't know about you, but I feel like I have been having more "aha" moments than ever this month.

Perhaps it is the fact that the times are driving more opportunities for engagement with people I may never have met before because we are all virtual. Or perhaps it is the time of the year, as I look to drive our goals as an organization.

My mind is hungrier than ever to learn new ways to provide coaching and community to the women that I serve. And that has led to an even greater focus on myself to invest in my mind, body, and spirit.

The most rewarding part is that I am having these "aha" moments exactly when I need to have them. I am a huge believer in divine timing and pushing myself of to let go of things when it doesn't feel right.

My "aha" moments are freeing me up to focus on the things that I truly enjoy, making me a better coach and human being.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...

Authentically August

blog change connections vision Aug 20, 2021

There is just something about August that feels so real. Perhaps it is the realization that the year is over halfway through. Or perhaps it is seeing the plants beginning to end their summer growth.

August is a time for change and a time to prepare to harvest everything we have been working on all year long.

Our ideas from January are no longer dreams. We can see them growing in the fields before us, and we can clearly see what "rooted" and what did not.

That realization can be disappointing if we do not see the yield we had dreamed of, but I choose to focus on the "truth" that lies in the moment.

Consider this - bread is not something we pick off a vine. There are several steps from planting the wheat, to harvesting, milling, and then making the bread.

What I want you to "realize" is that when you look at your harvest, you may not yet see the end result. There probably are a few more steps to take to get to your goals.

So, keep going!

Enthusiastically Embracing August

Have you ever really thought about the word, embrace?

While we all automatically go to the heart of the meaning, "to hold someone closely in your arms", there is so much more to this wonderful word.

Another definition of embrace is:

to accept or support (a belief, theory, or change) willingly and enthusiastically.

WOW! Just wow.

I think that is why I just love this word. The idea of embracing something with enthusiasm opens a new perspective to "how" we interact with whatever "it" is.

Jubilant July!

I cannot believe that July is coming to a close and we will be welcoming August this weekend.

It seems as only a few days ago, I was greeting the summer, lavishing in the rain, and lingering in my garden soaking up the sun.

But I am not sad to see the summer prepare to come to a close because it has been full of so much joy and jubilation.

From my early morning walks to welcoming back friends into my life with open arms, this month has been full of moments of pure joy.

Have you ever thought about how different our lives would be without "jubilant" moments?

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week.

Let's Generate In July!

ceo connections courage Jul 08, 2021

Two things happened recently, we crossed into the second half of 2021 and the first tropical storm of the season made landfall in Florida.

Both occurrences brought the word generate to mind. And I took some time to reflect on the word.

There are so many things we need to generate in our life. From the funds to live and support our families to the energy we need to accomplish our goals each day, generating is something we cannot get away from.

I am taking some time to focus on both aspects for myself so that I can hit my goals on both a personal and professional level.

From adding more time with my art coach to generate creative energy, to spending more time in my garden generating peaceful energy, I am making sure my personal generator is ready to carry me through the second half of this year.

Let me know what you are doing to generate what you need in the coming months.

With that, let's catch up on what I've been up to this week...
